The end of January already!

The studetns are growing and maturing in so many ways.  After last week’s revision museum and this week’s reading celebration…these students are showing so much growth and ability for first graders.  We had a blast experimenting with different forms of matter this week.  Check out some of the books we have been reading on my blog bookshelf to the right of the screen.

Please check out the work the students have been up to in our weekly newsletter:

Our Christmas vacation time was so much fun. I got to spend wonderful time with my family and I enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you so much for all the generous gifts you showered on me before and after break! I am so thankful to have such a supportive group of families to work with and such astounding first graders. Thanks for making my job a rewarding one!

We had such a busy week getting back into routine. We are nearly halfway through the school year and it is fun to see how much growth the students have had since Kindergarten and how much is still on the way. Please read our newsletter to get more details into the school life of your first grader this week: January 9 Newsletter
